Learning Mentors

Students are referred to one of our Learning Mentors if their behaviour or attendance is having a negative effect on their learning.

Other students may also be referred if staff members feel that there is a need for emotional support and intervention strategies. 

All students referred to the Learning Mentors have an action plan and targets which are monitored on a weekly basis. 

Students may follow drawing and talking therapy sessions, cognitive learning & behaviour programmes or the Relax Kids Programme.
