Vision & Values

At Isebrook, we believe every student deserves the chance to be their very best. Our vision is to champion each child, helping them become confident, capable, and successful in their own way, ready for adulthood and for life, whatever their future pathway.

We are committed to empowering every student, ensuring they are valued, have a voice, and feel valuable, while supporting them to:

  • Grow in confidence and independence
  • Develop essential life and social skills
  • Discover their talents, aspirations, and interests
  • Prepare for a happy, fulfilling, and meaningful future

At the heart of our vision is our commitment to help all students champion themselves, feel empowered, and thrive in ways that are right for them.

Rights Respecting School
Bronze Award

We are proud to have achieved the Rights Respecting Schools Bronze Award from UNICEF UK, marking our commitment to placing the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) at the heart of our school’s values and ethos.

Being a Rights Respecting School means that we are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive and respectful environment where every child’s rights are understood, taught, respected, and promoted. This helps our students develop a strong sense of equality, fairness and social responsibility — empowering them to be confident, active global citizens.

What Does the Bronze Award Mean?

The 'Bronze: Rights Committed' stage is the first step in the Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) journey.

Achieving Bronze means that:

  • Our school has made a clear commitment to the values and principles of the UNCRC.
  • Staff, governors and the wider school community are beginning to develop a shared understanding of children's rights.
  • We are working collaboratively with students to embed a rights-based approach into school life.
  • We have started to plan how we will teach and promote children's rights across the curriculum and in everyday practice.
  • Achieving this award shows that we are serious about building a culture where children’s rights are learned, respected and lived by all. It also lays the foundation for our journey toward the 'Silver: Rights Aware' award and, eventually, the 'Gold: Rights Respecting' status.

We look forward to continuing this journey with our school community and ensuring that every child in our care feels valued, respected and heard.
