The Isebrook offer is personalised and individualised to meet the needs of each student.
The foundation of our curriculum is Preparation for Adulthood, and we plan to ensure that students are ready for their next stage when they leave Isebrook.
This means that our curriculum is not accreditation driven; students will follow programmes that lead to a qualification or accreditation only if it is meaningful and purposeful and if it provides them with worthwhile currency for their next steps.

Students in Post-16 have the opportunity to work towards GCSE qualifications in the following areas:
Where meaningful and purposeful, students in Year 11 and Year 12 may be able to be entered to sit their GCSEs in these years. This will be in discussion with the student’s teacher, AHT for their outcome and the transition lead.
Students in KS4 and Post-16 have the opportunity to be entered into the following Functional Skills qualifications:
Each qualification can be achieved at these levels:
Our awarding body for Functional Skills qualifications is Pearson
All students from Year 9 through to Year 13, have the opportunity to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. In Year 9 – 11 (KS4), students work towards achieving their Bronze Award. In Year 12 and 13 (Post-16), students who successfully completed their Bronze Award in KS4 will work towards achieving their Silver Award.
There are four separate components to each Duke of Edinburgh award:
Please note that the expedition part of the award scheme will always be arranged within school by the school team. Details of expeditions will be shared with students by the staff team and are planned to take place when the student is in Year 11 or Year 13.
