We understand how important a smooth and supportive transition is for every student. Once a place has been confirmed, we work closely with families and current schools to ensure each child feels confident and prepared for their new journey with us.

Our Transition Journey is carefully designed to meet individual needs and includes the following steps:
Families are invited to visit the school—either after school hours or on a Saturday morning—to explore the environment and ask any questions.
Our staff visit students in their current school setting to begin building relationships and understanding their needs.
Our Welfare Manager contacts the current school to gather important information to support the student’s transition.
These are sent to families to help students become familiar with Isebrook before they arrive.
Students visit Isebrook for short sessions, accompanied by staff from their primary school, to get a feel for the environment.
Students join their new class for a circle time session and stay for lunch, helping them begin to connect with peers and staff.
At the end of Year 6, students attend Isebrook for two weeks, following a special timetable of collaborative activities designed to help them settle in and bond as a new class team.
